Types of damage that can be repaired

  • Typically, small breaks in the non-acute area (see illustration) can be repaired
  • The acute area is right in front of the driver
  • Small breaks that likely are repairable are: bullseye, star, half moon, and combination (See illustration)

Glass repairers

  • Chances are the repairer has mobile equipment and will come to you
  • If you take your vehicle to a facility these repairs usually take 20 to 30 minutes and can be done while you wait
