Exclusions and limitations
This policy does not cover any loss caused or contributed by:

Normal pregnancy and childbirth; however, complications of pregnancy are not excluded.

Any attempt at suicide, whether sane or insane, or any intentionally self-inflicted injury.

War, declared, or undeclared, or any act or hazard of war.

Injury sustained or Sickness contracted while you are in the armed services.

Injury or Sickness to the extent you are entitled to benefits under or obtain any settlement related to,any Workers' Compensation or Occupational Diseases Law, or any other state disability law or program, if the Workers' Compensation Exclusion Rider is selected.

Pre-existing Condition Limitations. There is no coverage for any loss incurred or disability which is caused by or results from a pre-existing Sickness or Physical Condition subject to the time limit on certain defenses provision.
No benefits will be paid after you reach age 65, the Mortgage Termination Date or you change your principal residence. However, if Total Disability begins after age 64 or within 12 months of the Mortgage Termination Date, benefits will be paid while Total Disability continues for up to 12 months.
If Total Disability results from two or more causes, the Monthly Income Amount payable shall be limited to the amount payable for Total Disability resulting from a single cause.
Benefits payable under this policy may be reduced because of other valid coverage.
