Legal and Litigation Careers
The Law Department works to provide high quality, consistent, practical, timely, and cost-effective legal service to assist State Farm in meeting its operational and public policy goals. The department is comprised of lawyers who provide a full range of legal services to the Company's Corporate Headquarters and throughout the Enterprise. In addition, claim litigation attorneys, legal secretaries, and paralegal support staff serve in State Farm Claim Litigation Counsel offices across the country. The Company's legal practice is divided into Litigation and Corporate Counseling and Insurance Counseling and Financial Services and Legislative/Regulatory.

Managing risk and opportunity.
Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) provides a framework for risk management activities, and promotes a risk management culture throughout State Farm. ERM employees collaborate across the organization to assess the enterprise risk profile and help integrate risk considerations into decision making. Risk Management opportunities include ERM Modeling Analyst, ERM Model Validator and ERM Analyst and are located in Bloomington, Illinois.

The Internal Audit Department provides assurance and consulting services to State Farm leadership and the Board of Directors, ensuring an independent, disciplined approach in evaluating and improving risk management, control, and governance processes. Key responsibilities include reviewing effectiveness and efficiency of financial, operational, risk management, and compliance control systems. Our auditors continually monitor for changes in the State Farm enterprise, insurance and financial services industry, and auditing profession, to consider when developing future audit strategies. We have Internal Auditor and Systems Auditor opportunities in our Bloomington, Illinois; Atlanta, Georgia; Dallas, Texas; and Phoenix, Arizona offices.
