From high-level marketing strategies and plans, to local events and State Farm product materials, we help shape our brand and its messages. With a responsibility this significant, we hire experienced, high performing customer-focused marketing professionals who seek to understand our diverse customer needs and enjoying working in a collaborative environment to achieve results.
The majority of our openings are located at our Corporate Headquarters in Bloomington, IL and our three hub locations in: Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX; and Phoenix, AZ. We hire experienced marketing professionals into two major roles:
Strategy Analyst (Marketing and Sales Strategy)
Strategy Analysts identify trends, utilize primary and secondary research, understand the competitive landscape, analyze data and identify insights to develop strategies which will guide the development of our marketing plans. They are responsible for engaging and influencing key business partners to ensure understanding and alignment of our strategies. Ideal candidates are experienced omni-channel marketing professionals who are actively engaged in developing marketing strategies designed to help business partners and product lines achieve their goals.
Marketing Analyst (Integrated Marketing Solutions)
We represent the "voice of the customer" to ensure we connect with a variety of consumers, attract new customers, retain existing customers and cross-sell products that meet the needs of our policyholders. We have a variety of specialized teams that are responsible for developing and implementing integrated marketing plans, which include materials and advertising to support the business goals of the Company, our market areas, and State Farm agents. We work in conjunction with external creative and media agencies to plan, create, execute, and monitor our efforts in the marketplace.

Creative Services Careers

For nearly five decades, Creative Services has been the center of creative expertise for State Farm operating as its in-house creative agency. Put another way, we are the right brain for a (mostly) left brain Enterprise. Our full-service agency approach includes everything from account management and strategic planning to design, copywriting, web development video, film and live broadcast production. Our work touches every fiber of our brand through internal communications, executive support, external marketing events and advertising campaigns that reach millions of consumers each day.
We are approximately 170 people, all driven by a passion for craft and collaboration. Creative expertise is our foundation. Mostly, we work in our Corporate Headquarters in Bloomington, Illinois. However, we also have a small pool of talented colleagues that are spread across the United States. All of our different backgrounds and diverse skills combine to add great value to our creative family, which focuses on the following capabilities:

Public Relations and Communications Careers

The mission of the Public Affairs Department is to advance our brand and reputation to help drive business results. There are Public Affairs professionals in our Corporate Headquarters and around the country who drive PR efforts and may also have responsibility for program development and implementation. The broader department includes two main areas:
The Internal Communications team keeps employees and agents informed, educated, and inspired to meet customer needs. They consult with partners throughout the Company, including executive leaders, to share insights, provide strategies, and create dynamic communications. Clear, concise, simple messages are developed for multiple channels including online, video, presentations, email, and executive speeches.
The External Communications team is comprised of Community Relations, Media Relations, Social/Digital and Campaign Development. Public Relations practitioners develop and implement campaigns, manage a philanthropic portfolio, proactively secure earned and owned media coverage and manage our external, digital presence for State Farm. The goal is to build the State Farm brand to support company goals, and drive growth.
