Send Money to Someone Else

Need to pay back a friend, send a gift, or simply avoid writing a check? Watch this short video to learn how State Farm Bank® makes it easy for you to send money securely online to someone else.

Whether you're paying back a friend, sending a gift, or just avoiding having to write a check, you'll often need to send money securely to someone else.

To select the account you'd like to transfer funds from, first find the Send Money Online link under Quick Links on the Transfer Funds or Account Activity page.

If you have an email address or mobile number for the recipient, you can instantly send funds to them from a computer.

If you have their bank account information, you can deposit money directly into their account.

Or if you have their address, you can send a physical check to them for free — no postage, no envelopes.

(Please note that some transfer limits apply depending on the method of the transfer.)
