Receive Redemption Proceeds the Way You Want

By Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
Redemption proceeds can be transferred electronically to your pre-designated bank account within two or three business days after processing the request. Please see the instructions below in order to make an EFT request on your account.
When opening an account via Electronic Application (E-app) with a State Farm® Agent, you can input your bank routing/account number directly on the application. If completing a paper application, a voided check can be attached to the bank information section of the application.
A bank can also be added after an account is already opened by registering your account on statefarm.com® and providing the bank routing/account number when logged in. (As a security measure, this method requires that you wait 15 calendar days after adding the bank before a request to redeem funds to that bank can be completed.) Offline, bank information can be added to your existing account by completing and submitting an Investor Account Services Form [PDF-1.3MB]. (This method does not have the same 15 day waiting period for a withdrawal request as a bank added through statefarm.com.)
Once added, this bank can be utilized for any future redemption requests provided to us in writing, by phone call to 800-447-4930 during normal business hours, or when logged into your account on statefarm.com.
Redemption proceeds will be sent as a check to your address of record unless bank information is on file and instructions are provided to send funds to a bank. We allow up to 10 mailing days after the redemption request is received for a check to arrive at your address.
If you provide specific instructions in your redemption request, you may have the proceeds sent to another person or to an address other than the address on the account. A signature guarantee1 may be required.
If you request expedited delivery of proceeds, a fee of $15 will be deducted from your redemption proceeds. Expedited check requests utilize FedEx or USPS and have a 2 to 3 business day timeframe for delivery.
This option allows proceeds to be deposited in your pre-designated bank account usually on the next business day after receipt of the redemption request. Please see the instructions under "By EFT" for adding a bank to your account.
There is a $15 fee for this service, and the amount will be subtracted from your redemption proceeds. In addition, your financial institution may charge a fee for this service.
1 Signature guarantee is a written representation signed by an officer or authorized employee of the guarantor, showing that the signature of a shareowner is genuine. A commercial bank, broker-dealer or other authorized guarantor can provide this service. A notary public cannot provide a signature guarantee.
