Military Leave provides continued affiliation for employees serving in the United States Armed Forces. The leave is effective the first workday the employee is away from work for military duty.
Our employee Military Leave policy provides continued affiliation for employees serving in the United States Armed Forces. Employees in the National Guard or Reserves who are called up for training, duty or extended active duty are eligible for salary continuation, subject to the offset of military pay.
- Coverage may continue for you and your eligible dependents until reemployment rights expire.
- The Company contribution continues as long as you continue your contribution.
- If you elect to terminate coverage or discontinue contributions while on Military Leave, coverage may be reinstated without evidence of insurability if you return to work before the expiration of your reemployment rights.
