Receive Redemption Proceeds the Way You Want

Get started today and choose one of the following options.

By Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)

Redemption proceeds can be transferred electronically to your pre-designated bank account within two or three days after processing the request. You can make this request by doing one of the following:

  • Attach a voided check under the Bank Information section of the account application when first opening an account.
  • Call 800-447-4930 during normal business hours.
  • Download and submit an Investor Account Services Form. [PDF-223.5KB]

By Check

Redemption proceeds you request in writing normally will be sent by check to the address on your account within 10 mailing days after the redemption request is received.

However, if you give specific instructions in your redemption request, you may have the proceeds sent to another person or to an address other than the address on the account. A signature guarantee1 may be required.

If you request expedited delivery of proceeds, a fee of $15 will be deducted from your redemption proceeds.

By Wire

This option allows proceeds to be deposited in your pre-designated bank account usually on the next business day after receipt of the redemption request.

There is a $15 fee for this service, and the amount will be subtracted from your redemption proceeds. In addition, your financial institution may charge a fee for this service.

1 Signature guarantee is a written representation signed by an officer or authorized employee of the guarantor, showing that the signature of a shareowner is genuine. A commercial bank, broker-dealer or other authorized guarantor can provide this service. A notary public cannot provide a signature guarantee.
