Mobile Requirements

  • A Smartphone or tablet with the State Farm® mobile app installed.
  • Registered statefarm.com® account.
  • A State Farm Bank Deposit Account (Savings, Checking, Interest Checking, Money Market Savings).
  • If the above requirements are met, this functionality is available by logging into your account in the app, selecting Bank, the quick action Deposit3 button, then just follow the prompts.

For Best Results

  • The image must contain a readable check number, endorsement, and payee name.
  • Endorsement guidelines: You must endorse all checks submitted through the Services as follows:
    • For deposit only, State Farm Bank's account #____ (listing your State Farm Bank account number) ____ [customer signature] ____.
  • Hold your phone horizontally over the check.
  • Position the check within the camera guides.
  • Take the picture in good light.
  • Keep your phone as steady as possible.
  • The image must contain a readable magnetic ink character recognition line. This is the bank routing and transit number, checking account number, and check number encoded at the bottom of the check.
  • The image must contain a readable character (numeric) amount of the check and legal (spelled out) amount of the check.
  • Important: To ensure your privacy and security, please follow endorsement guidelines.


Access State Farm Bank mobile bill pay services 4 by clicking on the Bank icon in the app. Then select the Pay quick action button, select the payee, then just follow the prompts. With mobile bill pay you can:

  • Schedule a one-time payment to an existing payee
  • View pending payments
  • View processed payments

You can schedule one-time transfers between eligible State Farm accounts, or between your State Farm accounts and accounts at another bank. To set up or edit a recurring transfer, you will need to access your account online. Get started with external transfers.


You can pay your State Farm Bank Vehicle Loan bill anytime on the go through the State Farm mobile app. In order to make a payment you must:

  1. Download the State Farm mobile app
  2. Once you log in, tap on your Vehicle Loan and then Make a Payment
  3. Add or choose an existing payment account
  4. Select your payment amount and date
  5. Review and submit your payment

Credit card customers who have registered their account on statefarm.com® and have established at least one online payment account can schedule payments to their State Farm credit card accounts. In order to make a payment, you must:

  • Register and enable your account
  • Set up at least one payment account on statefarm.com for making State Farm credit card payments
  • Log into our mobile website or while in the app click on the Pay quick action button on the Bank page and follow the prompts.

After setting up an account, you'll be able to schedule payments up to 90 days in advance, and view 90 days of payment history and pending payments.
