As a State Farm Bank customer, you can activate email and text alerts for many account activities. Alerts are easy to set up, and you can enable, disable, and customize alerts to fit your needs. Log in to set up email and text alerts. Don't have an online account? Register now.

Getting Started with Email and Text Alerts

Checking and Savings Accounts

  1. From the Policies and Accounts page, choose the deposit account you'd like to set email and text alerts for.
  2. At the top of the page, select Customer Service.
  3. Under Contact Options, select Manage Alerts.

Credit Cards

  1. From the Policies and Accounts page, select the credit card account you'd like to set email and text alerts for.
  2. At the top of the page, select Alerts.

Email and Text Alerts Keep You Informed

Click on an account type to see some of the email and text alerts you can set up to monitor that kind of account. Or log in to see all the email and text alerts available to you.


Account Alerts
  • Account balance
  • Check number processed
  • Deposit amount processed

ATM / Debit Card Alerts
  • Transaction at or above an amount you specify
  • Declined transaction
  • Suspicious activity

Bill Payment Alerts
  • Automatic payment notice
  • Payments processed
  • Payment failed or overdrawn account

Service Alerts
  • New statement available
  • Online check deposited
  • Transfer failed


Authorization Transaction Alerts
  • Fraudulent activity
  • Transactions above an amount you specify
  • When your available credit is less than an amount you specify

Scheduled Alerts
  • Balance exceeds a certain amount
  • Balance notifications
  • Payment due in the number of days you specify
