We work hard to protect your account from unauthorized use. As a State Farm Visa credit cardholder, you will automatically get a text and/or email alert if suspicious activity occurs on your account. This allows us to provide 24/7 account protection. There's no need to enroll, but it is important that you respond to the alerts so we know whether or not you authorized the transactions in question. Once suspicious activity is detected, your credit card account will be suspended until we can confirm the legitimacy of the activity. If you receive an alert, please respond as quickly as possible. A quick response is vital to prevent loss and reduce any inconvenience for you. To be sure you receive these important alerts, update your contact information today.
Once you are logged-in, click on the "Profile and Preferences" link from the left-hand side of the page. From the Profile and Preferences page, click "Edit personal information" to update your email and mobile phone number and click "save". Please note, updates may take 24 hours.

Q. What will the email alerts say?
Q. Will use of my account be suspended until I respond to the alert?
A. If you are receiving an alert, your account has already been suspended as State Farm Bank has deemed the activity suspicious enough to suspend spending until the issue is resolved.
Q. What happens if I don't respond to the alert?
A. For the security and protection of your account, and to prevent additional loss, the account will remain suspended until we receive a response from you. As always, you can call us to discuss.
Q. What happens if "I did not authorize the charge"?
A. If the charges were not authorized by you, unfortunately we will need to issue you a new card with a new account number and expiration date. This will assist in preventing any further unauthorized use.
Please contact us at 877-593-3386.
Q. What happens if the changes are legitimate?
A. If the charges are legitimate, your account will be unlocked and you may begin using your card immediately once you have responded to the alert and verified the charge was legitimate.
