Competitive Nevada auto insurance discounts and potential savings

You may be eligible for a discount for taking a defensive driving course if you meet all of the following criteria:

1. Are at least 55 years of age.
2. Have voluntarily completed a traffic safety course approved by the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles and Public Safety.

Discount Term and Renewal

The discount will begin at the inception date (new policies) or is applied midterm as of the completion date of the course (existing policies). The discount applies for a period of three years, at the end of which, you must provide evidence that the course has been successfully repeated to renew the discount.

Termination of the discount will occur at the first renewal date (following three years from the course completion date unless State Farm receives evidence of recertification).
