2014 - 2015 Junior Achievement USA® Bronze U.S. President's Volunteer Service Award
State Farm has been awarded the Bronze US President's Volunteer Service Award for the 2014-2015 program year. State Farm provided more than 6,400 hours of dedicated service to Junior Achievements across the country.
The President's Volunteer Service Award recognizes the significant time contributions of individuals and organizations. Junior Achievement USA is an official certifying organization for the President's Volunteer Service Award. Junior Achievement USA provides financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship programs to K-12 students across the country.
Save 10 Employer Recognition
State Farm is honored to be among the companies recognized by the Financial Services Roundtable as a Save 10 employer.
Save 10 recognizes the State Farm commitment to empower employees with tools to save a minimum of 10% of their income and ultimately provide for a more secure retirement.
State Farm provides access to 401(k) savings plan, invests a $300 non-elective contribution for all eligible employees, provides a matching contribution up to $900 per year based on sufficient profits, defined benefit pension plan, medical insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, associate mutual funds, and many other benefits through Total Rewards.
2014 Corporate Social Responsibility Leadership Award
State Farm is honored to be among the companies recognized by the Financial Services Roundtable Corporate Social Responsibility Leadership Award for 2014.
The Corporate Social Responsibility Leadership Award shows appreciation and encouragement for State Farm's commitment to volunteerism, community service, and financial literacy. The award is based on employee volunteer involvement, total volunteers, volunteer hours, financial literacy projects, and monies raised for/donated to support community service and financial education projects.
2013-14 Junior Achievement Volunteer Service Award
State Farm has been awarded a bronze level President's Volunteer Service Award for the 2013-2014 program year. State Farm provided more than 5,000 volunteer hours to Junior Achievement to meet the criteria for this honor.
The President's Volunteer Service Award is a U.S. presidential recognition program created by the President's Council on Service and Civic Participation for individuals and organizations who contribute a significant amount of time to volunteer service. Junior Achievement USA, as an official certifying organization for this award, has the privilege of bestowing this degree of honor to organizations with a U.S. presence that provide volunteers to teach JA programs anywhere in the world. Junior Achievement USA announced the award and the honorees in a recent press release.
2011 Corporate Social Responsibility Index
State Farm is honored to be among those companies recognized as part of the 2011 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Index. The index, which ranks the 50 companies with the best corporate citizenship reputations among the U.S. public, is compiled by the Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship and the Reputation Institute. The index cites companies with strong public perception on citizenship, governance, and workplace practices.

State Farm was recognized for its many years of service in the Hispanic community, and in particular, for being the lead corporate sponsor for the community's Ya es Hora effort whereby bilingual State Farm agent offices provide citizenship materials and encourage participation in the Census.
