Support Our Agents

Teams across the enterprise work to help meet the needs of our customers by supporting State Farm agents and their leaders in the field. State Farm agents are independent contractors who work every day to meet the needs of millions of State Farm customers across North America. As the face of State Farm in local communities, our agent force is at the center of what we do.

And what we do includes whatever it takes to provide tools and technology for 17,000-plus State Farm agents, from day-to-day operations to planning conferences, conventions, and special events. Some of our business areas include:


Planning and producing a variety of communications to inform and motivate State Farm agents and field leaders.

Market Research

Quantifying customer growth opportunities and preferences through ongoing research, testing, analysis, design, and modification of marketing.

Marketing Support

Developing creative tools and messages across a variety of media to help drive new and existing customers to agents.


Identifying, selecting, licensing, and training new State Farm Independent Contractor Agents.


Developing and supporting compensation and awards programs for agents and State Farm associates.

Sales and Product Support

Helping agents identify customer needs and provide solutions through appropriate products to meet them.


Assisting policyholders with service needs and providing agent office and agency leadership support through guidance on programs, resources, and daily business operations – "all things agency".


Helping agents exceed customer expectations with processes, tools, reporting, and technology-driven solutions.

Training & Development

Delivering sales, systems and technology training to State Farm Agents and their team members in one-on-one, group and virtual environments to support the agent's business needs.
