Competitive Hawaii Auto Insurance Discounts

The Drive Safe & Save auto insurance discount is available to customers who agree to share certain driving information with State Farm and meet eligibility requirements. Customers may receive an initial discount of about 5% when they enroll. Then, how you drive determines your discount - up to 30%.

You may be eligible to receive the Good Driving Discount if each of the drivers in the household has had no moving violations and no at-fault accidents during the past three years. The private-passenger vehicle receiving this auto insurance discount must also be insured with State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company.

NOTE: All household drivers will be subject to driver history verification at the time an application is submitted for car insurance. This discount may be replaced with the Accident-Free Discount after you have been a State Farm customer for three years.

You could save on insurance for a motorcycle, motorscooter, or vehicle with less than four wheels if you have voluntarily completed a novice or advanced motorcycle training course approved by the Department of Transportation, and if the vehicle is registered for use upon a public highway in the State of Hawaii.

A certificate must be presented to State Farm showing the course was successfully completed. After Underwriting reviews the certificate, the discount will be applied.

You may be eligible for this auto insurance discount if you meet all of the following criteria:

• There are two or more private-passenger automobiles primarily driven by persons residing at the address.
• The vehicles are insured with State Farm.
• The owners of the vehicles reside in the same household, and A) are related by marriage, blood, or adoption, or B) for two unrelated owners, they must jointly own the vehicles and both be designated as named insureds on the policies.
