If you have experienced a loss to your personal property, creating an inventory of your damaged or lost items is an important step in your recovery process. This includes belongings such as furniture, electronics, clothing, jewelry, and more.

How to submit your personal property inventory

Use the ClaimXperience Personal Property (CXPP) portal provided in the email from your claim handler. This is the easiest and fastest way to submit your inventory online. If you have not received an email from your assigned claim handler or team or have questions or further assistance is needed, please contact them.

Use the email address where the initial invite email was sent.

Steps to submit an inventory

Select which tool you need

Use one of the following tools — option A or B — to create and submit your inventory:

A: Blank Excel® inventory sheets
  • Designed to help you itemize your belongings, especially after moderate to total loss.
  • Includes guidance to fill out quantity, age, condition, and notes for each item.
B: Contents inventory aids
  • Designed to help you itemize your belongings, especially after moderate to total loss.
  • Includes guidance to fill out quantity, age, condition, and notes for each item.

Complete the form and save

Make sure you download the completed form to your computer.


Submit your completed inventory

  • Email your completed form to: HOME CLMS-FIRECLAIMS.
  • Include your claim number in the email subject line.
  • Alternatively, upload your completed inventory through statefarm.com by selecting Manage Your Claim and following the upload instructions.

How to submit replacement cost benefits receipts

Replacement receipts can be submitted using either of the following:

  • ClaimXperience Personal Property (CXPP) — an email invite will be provided by your claim handler to import receipts for Replacement Cost Benefits. 
Log in to CXPP – use the email address where the initial invite email was sent.
  • Contents Rapid Reimbursement (CRR) — is a quick and efficient way to submit Replacement Cost Benefits (RCB) receipts for personal property using your mobile device.  Check your text from State Farm which will contain your link to submit receipts.  If you did not receive a text and have receipt to submit, contact your claim handler and ask that they send you a link to CRR. 
  • Alternatively, upload your completed inventory through statefarm.com by selecting Manage Your Claim and following the upload instructions.
