What is a State Farm® Billing account and why am I getting one?

State Farm Billing is our new billing system that will replace the old one — State Farm Payment Plan. Over time, all customers and their policies will transition to this new system.

If you’ve received a notice that some of your policies are moving to State Farm Billing, here’s what you need to know:

  • Your bills will have a new look, helping to make it easier to read and understand.
  • You’ll be given a new State Farm Billing account number for your auto, home or property policies.
  • State Farm will stop sending your bills electronically to your bank or payment service for those policies that are moving to the new system.
  • If you have life, health or recreational vehicle policies with State Farm, those will stay on your current State Farm Payment Plan account. This means you’ll receive two separate bills: one for any auto, home, or property policies, and another for your life or health policies. You'll need to pay each of these bills separately. If you use AutoPay, you'll see two charges on your bank or credit card statement.

Some features of the new billing system may vary depending on what state you live in. For more information, review the email notice you received about the new billing system or contact your agent.
