At this time, the ability to make partial bill payments is only available for eligible customers.
To see if your account is eligible and make a payment, log in to your online account and follow these steps:
State Farm Payment Plan accounts
- Visit the Make a Payment page
On your Make a Payment page, look for an option to Pay Other Amount.
- Enter payment amount and submit
On the payment page, select the radio button next to Pay Other Amount. Once you’re satisfied with your selections, review them for accuracy and select Submit to make your payment.
Note: If you think you should be eligible to make a partial payment, but do not see the Pay Other Amount option, please contact your State Farm agent for assistance.
State Farm Billing accounts
- Visit the Payment Center
Start on the Payment Center: Insurance page.
- Locate your billing account
Scroll down to locate your State Farm Billing account.
- Manage payment schedule
Select Manage and then select Change payment schedule from the drop-down menu.
- Select payment schedule
Select Pay Half as your desired payment schedule from the list provided and be sure to click Save.
After completing the update, your bill will be updated to reflect the Pay Half amount due.
Note: Future bills on that State Farm Billing account will also be set to Pay Half unless you make further changes. Keep in mind, if you don’t pay all policies in full on your State Farm Billing account, you may be charged an installment fee.
