I’m getting a message that I’m not authorized to view my policy online. What do I do?

There are a few reasons why you’re receiving the not-authorized message. These may include:

  1. You’ve forgotten your login credentials, and after multiple failed attempts, you’re temporarily locked out.

Click on Log in on the statefarm.com homepage and select Trouble logging in? to reset your credentials. You’ll need to wait for a set amount of time before you can try again.
  2. Scheduled maintenance, unexpected outages, or technical issues with the State Farm website or mobile app can prevent access.
  3. Browser or app compatibility issues could be the problem. We support current versions of popular browsers, like Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Safari, and Firefox. Make sure you’re not using outdated browsers or unsupported devices, as well as use the latest version of the app.
  4. Network connectivity problems also can be the issue. Poor internet connection or firewall restrictions may block your access to the account portal. If you continue to have issues, contact your agent or Internet Support at 800-782-8332 for help.
