Here’s how to set up your State Farm® account

Creating an account online is easy and takes only a few minutes. But once you do, you can:

• Manage your policies
• Make payments
• Request changes
• Submit and track claims

You can set up your account on statefarm.com® or the State Farm app.

Statefarm.com instructions

Follow these steps:

1. Click on "Log in,” found in the upper right corner of the homepage
2. Select "Create an account today." On the login page, click on the create account link
3. Provide your information. You’ll be prompted to enter the following:
   1. Phone number
   2. Date of birth
   3. Email address (optional; non-State Farm customers can put in a claims number.)

Create a user ID and password:

1. Choose a user ID and create a secure password for your account. You may want to consider creating a passkey for your account. Learn about passkeys at State Farm.
2. Review and accept State Farm terms and conditions and privacy policy.
3. Complete your account registration. Once you’ve added your information, click “Submit.” You may receive a confirmation email to verify your account.
4. Log in: Congratulations. You’ve successfully set up your account. Log in using your new credentials.
