I enrolled in AutoPay, but my bill wasn’t paid. What happened?

There are a few reasons why an automated payment might not occur as scheduled after you enrolled in AutoPay. Here’s what may have happened:

  • You enrolled in AutoPay after the bill was created.
A bill that was created before you enrolled in AutoPay must be paid manually. Your AutoPay arrangement will take effect on the next bill.
  • Your bill was under $4.
Our billing system won’t send customers a bill if the amount is under $4.

Here are some exceptions:

  • It’s the first bill sent on the account.
  • The account has a due date change.
  • The account has a payment method change.
  • A draft was attempted, but there was an issue with the financial institution cause the payment to return.
  • We did not receive signed authorization within the provided time frame and the account was removed from AutoPay.
Tip

You can always find copies of your bills stored online in your Document Center.
