State Farm Premier Service® Program

The State Farm Premier Service Program is a customer choice program consisting of providers who manage national networks of participating independent providers of water mitigation, flooring and general contracting services. The State Farm Premier Service Program is designed to help you recover from the unexpected following a covered loss. This program is voluntary for policyholders.

Components of the State Farm Premier Service Program include:

  • Emergency water removal services (U.S.)
  • Flooring repairs or replacement
  • Contractor Network Service Providers (CNSP)s who can assist with identifying and selecting general contractors who can provide an estimate and complete building repairs
  • Workmanship guaranteed for 5 years by your chosen provider

Note: These programs may not be available in all locations.

Is My Claim Eligible for State Farm Premier Service?

  • Your claim handler will determine if your claim is eligible for the State Farm Premier Service Program.
  • If eligible, you can select a State Farm Premier Service Program participating network provider to assist with your emergency water mitigation services, assist with flooring repairs or replacements, or assist with identifying and selecting a general contractor who can provide an estimate and complete building repairs.

How Does It Work?

Water Mitigation Only Program and Flooring Installation Program

  1. Report the loss to your property:
  1. Choose a participating independent service provider; your claim handler can provide you with names of participating independent service providers. We will notify the independent service provider you select of the assignment.
  2. Schedule an appointment when the independent service provider contacts you.
  3. You approve the estimate and authorize repairs.
  4. You pay your deductible to the independent service provider.
  5. You authorize final payment to the independent service provider upon satisfactory completion of repairs.

Contractor Services Program

The Contractor Services Program utilizes Contractor Network Service Providers (CNSP) who manage networks of independent general contractors.

  1. Report the loss to your property:
  1. Choose a CNSP; your claim handler can provide you with names of participating CNSPs. We will notify the CNSP you select of the assignment.
  2. The CNSP contacts you to assist with identifying and selecting a general contractor who can provide an estimate and perform the repairs.
  3. General contractor schedules an appointment with you to inspect the damage.
  4. General contractor returns the estimate to the CNSP and State Farm for review.
  5. State Farm reviews the estimate and contacts you.
  6. State Farm issues payment directly to you (and your mortgage company if applicable).
  7. You can hire the general contractor who completed the estimate or choose any other contractor/service provider to complete the repairs.

What Services Are Included?

Water Mitigation Only Program and Flooring Installation Program

State Farm Premier Service Program independent service providers can provide water removal and/or floor repairs and replacements. These service providers will:

  • Respond 24/7:
    • For water mitigation, the service provider will contact you within 1 hour and arrive on site to begin the water mitigation work within 4 hours of receiving the assignment (in times of high volume, the vendor may take longer than 1 hour to contact you and longer than 4 hours to begin work).
    • For flooring, the selected service provider will contact you within 3 hours of the assignment to arrange a convenient time to inspect the flooring damage and provide an estimate.
  • Begin when you authorize the work.
  • Provide a 5-year warranty on their workmanship.

Contractor Services Program

Contractor Network Service Providers (CNSP) can assist with identifying and selecting a general contractor who can provide an estimate and complete building repairs; your claim handler can provide you with names of participating CNSPs. We will notify the CNSP you select of the assignment. These CNSPs will:

  • Contact you within 1 hour.
  • Make the assignment within 1 hour to the participating general contractor you choose from their network; the participating general contractor will contact you within 2 hours of receiving the assignment to arrange an inspection.
  • Review the participating general contractor’s estimate prior to returning the estimate to State Farm for review.
  • CNSP network participants will provide a 5-year warranty on their workmanship.

Can I Use My Own Contractor?

You can choose the independent contractor or service provider you prefer. If you have any questions or want to see if the State Farm Premier Service Program is available in your area, contact your State Farm agent or claim handler.
